Orbin “Buddy” Swisshelm is a seasoned sales executive, entrepreneur, author, and mentor with more than 40 years of experience in the signage and digital marketing industry. He serves as a regional manager with Digital Signs & Marketing, Inc., where he oversees sales activity and customer service throughout western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. In this role, he supports regional business growth, conducts client presentations, coordinates billboard installations, monitors project progress, and represents the company at industry and community events.
Mr. Swisshelm began his sales career in 1981 with Gulf Development/Signtronix, where he advanced from district manager to regional manager and became one of the organization’s leading performers. During his nearly four decades with the company, he trained sales professionals, helped strengthen national training initiatives, and earned recognition for growth, customer service, delivery performance, sales education, and creative leadership.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Swisshelm is a published author whose books include Is Your Why Bigger Than Your But?, What Dad Says, and Finnegan Begin Again. He earned an associate of applied science degree in accounting from Boyce College and holds a post-master’s certification in public speaking.
Committed to service beyond his career, Mr. Swisshelm is active as a board member of The Asservo Project. He continues to apply his leadership experience to mentoring others, supporting community initiatives, and helping organizations build lasting relationships through integrity-driven sales practices.
